Our illustrator, Charlie Hnatiuk, was part of the process from nearly the very beginning. It was exciting to see the characters we had imagined come to life as he drew them. 

Here’s what Charlie has to say about his art.

“I love nature. I admire and accept the natural setting of life. My artificial, modern technological life is based on aspects of nature. Everything originates from natural elements. We think of wood as natural material, metals as technological and some way less natural, and plastics as totally artificial- yet in another sense all are essentially natural. Therefore my art is firmly based in nature. Syncopated rhythms, organic and cubic forms are the driving force behind my personal and professional work.”
